However, research has shown that the eyes are closely linked to brain regions that process emotions and trauma. The position of your eyes can reveal where unprocessed or trapped emotions are stored in your brain.
- Identifying Brainspots: During a Brainspotting session, your therapist will guide you to focus on a particular point in your visual field while you recall or focus on a difficult memory, emotion, or issue.
